Members Connect Center

The members connect center provides all the features you would expect with services of this kind. With this tool members are able to view other members profiles and email or private message each other. This secure system is great for keeping the sensitive information that will be stores in your websites databases. It also provides an interesting way for the administrator to interact with members.

Each member is assigned with a username and password that enables them to log into the site. They will be required to enter an access code that helps protect your members section from unwanted visitors. Access is limited and members can only log in after being assigned the respectable information by the security administrator.

‘Role’ base authorizations can also be used to let some members in to certain areas and to keep others out. Again, the administrator can selectively grant access to those users who hold the responsibility to maintain the information and to create distinctive reports based on the information. You can use easy to understand names for roles to help enforce the different position you will have in your community.

A new user is able to view every available section of the website except for the directory section that they will not be able to enter. The directory section makes it possible to find members fast and accurately with the option to list members by the first letter of the members name. Once the search is completed it is also very simple to interact with that member in a short period of time with links to view their profile and to send emails to that member. The private message function is also possible in-between members.

The user profiles can be very descriptive and present an accurate description of the person including name, address, phone number, date of birth and family relationships. They can also enter their skills, interests and hobbies and add individual and family photos. Reports can be used for birthdays, anniversaries, baptisms, history, photos, skills and the list goes on. The reports are fully customisable and can be easily exported to Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.

There is a very in-depth level of customisation that is available for you to achieve. You can customise the user defined text fields, check boxes and date fields. Default values can also be added to save the time taken to enter that data. The reports offer a flexible choice of selection criteria and report results.

The administrator also has the ability to provide links to upcoming events in the community, the church calendar and also to publish the church newsletter on the website. The easy to use menu can be arranged nicely at the top of the members section and at the bottom. The administrator can also choose to add four menus to the top and bottom. All up the member control centre offers all of the necessary tools for your community and can save you alot of organisation time and data entry.
